Ghouls, and ghosts, and what not

Ever since you were young, you have probably heard a million stories about the girl in the school bathroom, the old haunted mansion up the hill, or the creature in the lake at summer camp.  There isn’t a single soul who hasn’t seen a horror flick of some sorts-be it a classic movie or one of the recent films to hit the silver screen.  Ghosts are usually depicted as evil scary beings that are meant to do no good.  It is often neglected that there are good spirits that are believed to guide and protect.

Many ghosts are not really bad, but just misunderstood.  As long as you have done them no harm, there is no reason for them to do the same to you.  People are always afraid of the unknown- maybe that is what makes them so scary.

Ghost Lady Costume

Why be scary when you can be stylish this coming Hallows Eve instead?  The Ghost Lady costume is anything but frightening.  This classic look will have heads turning for all the right reasons.  Put on the full length Victorian gown that has been carefully designed from top to bottom.  The upper half is a corset inspired bodice with three lovely bows placed in the middle.  The elegant wide sleeves are made of lace and to give it a little “ghoulish” feel to it, the hems are tattered here and there.  There are little ruffles running around the neckline and down to where the top ends and the skirt begins.

The ruffles then spread down the skirt area in a triangular way- getting wider and wider apart the further down it goes.  The hem of this skirt is also tattered, and so is the petticoat, and the mid area showcases a detailed Victorian print.  Although the whole ensemble is in nothing but white, all of the fine details make this look anything but boring.

People will be gasping at the very sight of you, but not out of fear but of praise.
